CIRCLE has posted the estimates for youth turnout in the March 4th TX and OH primaries.
Youth voter turnout nearly tripled in TX and rose sharply in OH compared to 2000. More than 620,000 young people voted in TX and over 444,000 in OH.
According to CIRCLE, To date, roughly 5.5 million 18-to 29-year-olds have voted in the 2008 primaries and caucuses.
