Last week, a secret recording emerged of a disturbing speech by Oklahoma Representative Sally Kern stating that homosexuality is a bigger threat to our nation than “terrorism or Islam.” Rep. Kern has refused to apologize for her remarks.
Hateful speech by elected officials must not be tolerated – especially when hate crimes based on religion and sexual orientation are on the rise.

Worse than that, Kern has a gay son! She’s basically Alan Keyes. They should start a club.
They must be a bigger threat to America because ANY group is a bigger threat to America than “terrorists.” Why get insane on this? It shows admirable realism on the part of Republicans. Essentially they’re saying tornadoes are a bigger threat to America than Polar Bears.
I just saw Bridget’s comment. Hey it makes perfect evolutionary sense - she wants grandchildren - she’s not an idiot, she doesn’t want her genes to die out.
