One of BlueDynamic’s clients is Americans for Gulf Coast Recovery. This is footage from two of the partners of BlueDynamic walking the lower ninth ward to gain perspective of the recovery process 3 years post Katrina. After this trip, BlueDynamic will be headed to DC to gain more support and resources for this recovery process.

Call Me Alpha Man - A New Spin On This Blog
June 6th, 2008 — Social Networking, Web 2.1 News, Blogging, BlueDyamic, Business, Personal Update
So my brief little stint in the Bay area last winter for a job, and then my connections through BlueDynamic I have unknowingly become the “invite code” guy. Online sites, tools, applications, and the world of Web 2.1 test their product with a select group of folks whom they send “invite codes” to. In the last 3 months I have been on BriteKite, Seesmic, Fire Eagle, Ping.fm, just to name a few.
Now, for some odd reason, I am getting more and more invite codes. I am starting to spread this out to friends and associates to help me test some of this stuff since I am just one person.
So… if you are interested in trying out new toys and writing about them, hit me up at kspidel on gmail. I think I am going to ask a few folks to review some of these sites.
Stay tuned for a few recaps. Bryan, Josh, Devon… look out, I am looking for some of your reviews too.
Un-needed Drama: Blogging the Convention
May 23rd, 2008 — 2008 Convention, Blogging, BlueDyamic, 2008 Battle, The Dems, AZ Politics
We over at BlueDynamic will be blogging the convention as well as Ted over at Rum, Romanism, and Rebellion. I have been impressed with how the DNCC has been handling these convention credentials. We as bloggers are gaining unprecedented access. I know many folks in the MSM that are actually envious of the access we are being allowed. Kudos needs to go to the folks at DNCC on this process. BlueDynamic will be utilizing live streaming video technology to interview our AZ delegates, and we will be working close with the state party to make sure all Arizona Democrats get to experience what the delegates are experiencing on the floor.
Despite this great experience, Kos has his ego in a bit of a fit. He decided to take this issue and make it personal toward Aaron and call individuals out in a blog versus talk about the system.
Simply put, we are getting unprecedented access. State Parties, unlike you would be led to believe, had some consultation, but there was no “hand off.” Bloggers are proactive on the ground, and like Ted and I want to work with the state party to maximize communication efforts. To think this was top down from the state parties is just bunk. I take the DNCC and the state parties at their word as they have been very transparent about it throughout the process, and I have been talking to both sides throughout the process.
Ok, I am calling you out Ted, your thoughts on yet another false Kos-attack? Help me out here brother. I for one feel this time was much smoother and open then 2004, what has been your experience?
My hats off to the DNCC for attempting to make order out of the disorderly ;)
Video: Tour of lower 9th ward & homeless in NOLA
May 12th, 2008 — Gulf Coast, BlueDyamic
Mouse over the film and click on the left pop up window to see “previous” show, which is the 9th ward clip.
There were taken today, apologies for the bad audio… this was taken on my phone.
Tuesday morning update: A new clip was uploaded this morning. The first clip is leaving our of the lower ninth ward looking at the rather small levee that has been constructed post Katrina. This is still not a class 5 levee, so those who want to move back… still feel it isn’t safe. Judge for yourself. The second clip is of the homeless tent city under the bridge. The third is of the lower 9th ward. Again, sorry for the wind noise… still trying to get a handle on this mobile technology and what it picks up.
